ALL ABOUT MS. MCKEOWN

Ms. McKeown grew up in Rye, New York just outside of New York City.  She attended the University of Michigan where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English (GO BLUE!!).  After college, she moved back to NY where she worked in marketing and public relations before deciding to follow her lifelong love of education and English.

She moved to Denver to obtain her Masters degree in Teacher Education at the University of Denver.  The 2015-16 school year will be her second year teaching at Skinner Middle School.

Outside of school, Ms. McKeown loves to explore all that Colorado has to offer.  She is also a huge sports fans and especially loves the Michigan Wolverines and the New York Mets. She loves to cook, spend time with friends and family, write, and read.  Some of her favorite books include Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, Lord of the Flies by William Golding, and Wonder by R.J. Palacio.  Find Ms. McKeown on Goodreads.com to keep up with all of her reading: https://www.goodreads.com/
